For The Love of Glam

 

As I look through my closet, I just see a lot of brown and black sweaters, different patterned cardigans, patterned tops and all kinds of pants. I feel like I'm lacking in the glam department. I am on the search for some sparkle! I would somehow like to find a fun and crazy sequined piece, whether it be a jacket, leggings, flats or a kickin' pair of shorts or a skirt. Just something that yells "Look at me, I'm glamorous!"

So even though we have entered the Fall season, I am still waiting to put together outfits consisting of bulky sweaters, leggings and leather boots. This season, I have fully committed myself to all different kinds of leggings differing in color, pattern and length. I made a count of all of my boots and I believe I have hit every style. The scrunched boot, leather boot, suede boot, straight boot, and many different colors. I am also very excited to pull out my new military jackets and start in with this season's military spin on fashion! I have fully prepared for the season, so only if mother nature would cooperate, we could get all the fun going! I am definitely ready to put away my summer dresses, tanks and shorts. Bring on the new wardrobe!

(p.s. Sorry for the big gap of no updates, I didn't realize how busy I was going to be when I got into this! So I picked my craziest week to make a post, Homecoming week! I'm actually doing this in class :/ i know that is music to your ears mom!)

Birthday Madness

Nineteen years ago today my lovely cousin was born. Today is going to be a crazy celebration filled with surprises, delicious food, and lots of friends! Zoe Elizabeth Stinchcomb is amazing in every way. She is my cousin, my roommate, and my best friend. She is just flat out awesome! I love her with all my heart and I wish her all the happiness in world on her day!

Let's Paint The Town Red

When it comes to color, red has never been my most favorite. However, as fall hits, I have grown more and more fond of it. I see it as an inspiration, whether it be found in the color changing leaves, the foods I eat or just my everyday life. I recently experimented with red lipstick and have been crazy about it ever since. (There's a chance that is what got me turned to the color red) But since then, I have noticed red everywhere I go. I see it in handbags, watches, jewelry, shoes and everything in between. I personally own the sunglasses pictured above and they are one the best purchases I have ever made, I mean they are from Target and it's hard to go wrong there. I love them because they stand out and make a statement. Red, red, red. I just love that word.

Jumping Into Fall

When I began this blog, I had no idea I was about to jump into my busiest week in Stillwater so far. So drum roll please... my first official fashion post! Well Fall has finally arrived and I know everyone is thrilled to be able to snuggle up in their favorite sweaters and lounge around in comfy cardigans. I recently picked up this at Target and have officially fallen in love. It is warm and cozy and not to mention crazy cute. This time around I decided to belt it at my waist to give it a little flavor. I also wore my favorite shoes from last season, my Indian moccasins. They are back and I am so happy. I can't wait to change up how I wear my new button down with knee high, frilled, suede boots and long layered jewels.
